Santa Maria Novella is famous for being one of the world's oldest pharmacies, first founded in 1221 in Florence, Italy by the Dominican Friars. By Kenyan has recreated a 1920s-inspired barbershop inside Earnest Sewn’s Meatpacking district location for Santa Maria Novella’s pop-up shop. Highlights included an antique barber chair and a variety of hand-sourced furniture and wall décor meant to evoke the spirit of the old-world apothecary.
